Eclectic Art Arrangements

Displaying art can be a real challenge, especially when you have a variety of pieces to hang, yet this is one of the best ways to personalize your home.  I love the effect created by mixing pieces, styles, sizes, finishes, frames and matting.  The end result is a personal collection that tells a story.  Here are some examples to help you see how you can mix your one of a kind pieces together in a grouping.

Designer Josie McCarthy’s explains “If all of the work was by the same artist, I would have framed them similarly but since these are all unique works, I think the eclectic way they’re hung emphasizes their individuality”

Designer Betty Burgess’ Study, displays her love of black and white art, including lithographs, etchings, and paintings framed in various ways.
